Designed from scratch with a light yet sober feel to reflect the sector in which Innovate operates, and incorporating a sprinkling of stock images and icons to add visual interest. Wordpress was used as the CMS, giving the client full control over content and structure, and allowing them to publish news stories from their occasional newsletters online.

A site to promote the Life of Pi Readalong by Edinburgh publisher Canongate.

Built using Wordpress to a design by Julie at IfLooksCouldKill. The site uses the full potential of Wordpress as a content management system, and integrates with Mailchimp, the web-based mailing list application.
West End Fair
Part of a larger rebranding, this site showcases exhibitors at a large craft and art fair in Edinburgh.

The site was designed using a colour palette and banner to tie in with print produced as part of the rebranding. Built in PHP with a MySQL database to store the exhibitors' details, it is a fast, clean site using unobtrusive javascript and a contact form that incorporates anti-spam measures without resorting to inaccessible CAPTCHA images.

A PHP/MySQL-driven site which combines a user profile with data on pubs using a scoring algorithm. The results are then plotted on a Google map. The application was the result of a group project at Napier University. The group is continuing development towards commercial implementations.

Dynamic CMS built in PHP/MySQL. Simplicity in design allows great flexibility in implementation. As it has been developed by pobo from scratch, we can customise it to a client's exact requirements and add new features on request. Select 'Admin' in the navigation and log in using admin@example.com as the username and 1234 as the password. In the 'Admin' section you can upload and edit photos and news items.

A static XHTML Strict site built in PHP. The highest standards of usability and accessibility were applied during design and construction. Includes unobtrusive JavaScript and an RSS feed, and home page content is parsed from the RSS XML file.

Unique Venues of Edinburgh
UVE is an umbrella organisation for Edinburgh venues. This site allows users to browse them, find ones that suit their needs and submit an enquiry.

Content-managed site using the Sava/Mura ColdFusion CMS running on Railo 3.0 and the Resin webserver. The basic Sava/Mura install was heavily customised, and I added two main custom modules: the first allows users to add venues to a 'shopping basket' and 'check out' by sending enquiry emails to their chosen venues; the second adds a venue management function to the backend and uses the ModelGlue framework.

New site for Glasgow's cultural powerhouse, the Centre for Contemporary Arts

Using IfLooksCouldKill's own CMS, the site is built in CFML and runs on Bluedragon on CentOS. ILCK's CMS allows modules to be added to extend functionality where required: for this project, I built a module for CCA's events, including a media library with Flash uploader, archive facility and front-end calendar.
KingdomFM
Major site for Fife's radio station, with live news and weather, blogs, social network, trading post and listen live facility.

Site for new Glasgow band signed to Island Records.
